Rosa Campagnaro (Director)

Rosa is the Director of Make A Scene and studied Commedia dell’Arte with Venezia InScena in 2003 and participated in workshops with Antonio Fava in 2010. This year, Rosa, studied Jacques Lecoq Technique (Movement Theater Studio, New York). In 1999 she graduated from Deakin University with a Bachelor of Arts (Drama) and a Bachelor of Teaching. Rosa has since worked as a teacher and performer specialising in Theatre In Education and Commedia dell’Arte. Rosa has conducted professional development for teachers in this area, both independently and in conjunction with Drama Victoria (2004-2011). She has directed for the Short and Sweet Festival (Arts Centre) and produced the Green Room Award winning musicals, Vaudeville X and Intimate Apparel (High Performance Company). In 2003 Rosa was ASM on the Tony Award winning musical, Avenue Q (The Vineyard Theatre, New York). Her performance history includes: Souls of Naples (Commeartefo` Theatre Company), La Famiglia (Masquerade Productions), La Locandiera (Venezia InScena) and Caution Teachers Crossing (Melbourne Fringe Festival). Rosa has created Arlecchino and La Principessa (The Lovers) for Make A Scene.
