Grant Cartwright

Grant is an award-winning Australian actor recently arrived home after making his New York stage debut in Angel (Manhattan Repertory Theatre). His extensive performance history includes work with the 45th Street Theatre and leading roles in several Australian premiere productions including Enlightenment and Grace (Melbourne Theatre Company) and Rock ‘n’ Roll (Sydney Theatre Company). Grant’s recent screen credits include the short films Stripped Bare and Two Ducks, the feature I Love You Too, and the role of Captain Midnight in the HBO television mini-series The Pacific. He frequently lends his voice to many international film productions for English Language Dubbing. Grant is a multiple Green Room Award nominee and won Best Actor in 2009 for his performance as Billy in Five Kinds of Silence. A 2005 graduate of the prestigious Victorian College of the Arts, Melbourne, Grant, has been a proud member of Actors Equity since 2001. He has been working for Make A Scene since 2004 conducting Drama classes and Commedia dell’Arte workshops for schools.
