Not only would you be contributing to the survival of a small independent theatre company, but your purchase of this recording helps a number of creatives – many of whom have lost their livelihoods – earn a small income.

As an important gesture of support, Make A Scene will be doubling royalties to all artists on this project, and we ask you to help us by directing colleagues to this page for purchase.

This recording has a few naughty bits and mature themes. We recommended it for mature students Year 10-12.
– Truffaldino improvises in a wordplay lazzo and says “Brighella’s foreskin”
– Smeraldina, in a sexy flirtatious way, gives instructions for re-sealing the letter
– Smeraldina’s speech about the differences between the sexes has mature themes
– Florindo’s money pouch hangs from his groin and Truffaldino ‘pulls it off’
– Truffaldino flirts with Smeraldina. He stares at her cleavage and then mentions “genital warts”
The Lovers in their despair, with plastic toy swords at the ready say, “goodbye cruel world” this tension is quickly cut with Brighella’s comic line, “Don’t get blood on the carpet.”
