
Alana Louise is an UK actor with a background in television, film, and theatre and she is a graduate of the NIDA Bachelor of Fine Arts (Acting) and Ecole Philippe Gaulier (France).
Her screen credits include the ABC’s Dog Park (director: Matt Saville), STAN miniseries Bali 2002 (director Peter Andrikidis), as well as feature film Jimpa (director Sophie Hyde). She also wrote, directed, and starred in the short film Binchook — which won the Indi Short Fest at the Toronto Women’s International Film Festival 2025 and was also nominated for Best Director, Best Production Design and Best Sound Design.
Alana’s stage credits include: Woman with a Tomahawk (La Mama), Trash Pop Butterflies (Theatre Works), and Future Proof (Arts Centre Melbourne), as well as Lunch with Bernays and Much Stuff, both for KXT. She played iconic roles including Juliet in A Pox On Both Your Houses, Sasha in Orlando, and Sebastian in Twelfth Night under the direction of Jim Sharman.
Alana has a passion for making people laugh and investigating the weirdos of the world and has brought her comedic skills to the stage with The Deadmouse and Peabrain Dreams, a show she wrote and performed for 2025 Edinburgh Fringe Festival and was voted #1 show to watch as well as Theatre Works Explosive Factory in February 2026. Alana makes her Make A Scene debut with Bromance.
